B2B sales usually involve large transactions and remain in a long-term period, so careful verification should always come first.
The default registration page might be just fine for retailers but not informative enough to manage the wholesalers.
2. Auto active every account registration
Here again, the default sign-up form shows its shortage when it comes to B2B business.
Every register is automatically activated and assigned to the same group, say "General." It causes dozens of junk accounts.
Not to mention, the admin has to find and put B2B customers under the right group manually. Much time and effort this process will take.
Show/Hide the default registration link as wished
The new B2B registration form can be used along with the default “Create an Account.” Or else, the admin can disable the default sign-up link for better control of account registration request.
Accept/Reject any B2B customer registration
Unlike the default which automatically approves of the sign-up, Magento 2 B2B Registration gives the admin time to review users before activating their registration request.
The admin can edit/update the status of B2B accounts in Customer Gridor on Customer Detail Page after.
Then, the B2B account will be assigned to a group configured in advance, normally Wholesale. Whereas, users registering via default sign-up link will be assigned to another group, say, General.
That way, the admin can classify B2B and B2C customers right from the start for further marketing actions.

- Send an email to the admin on the registered wholesale account
When there is a register via the B2B Registration form, the admin should know it immediately to quickly verify and timely get in touch with the potential customers.
- Notify the register of the admin’s decision
On the other hand, wholesale dealers should also be informed whether their registrations are accepted. If not, they can quickly resubmit the sign-up information to get accepted.
